The ‘Luna Brooch’ embodies our Eastern perception of the moon as a woman with joined eyebrows, a round face, a chubby chin, and parted black hair. This piece is a rendition of a painting from a 16th-century Indian Falnameh, “fortune-telling book”. Studio Toghchi, in collaboration with Shiraz-based artist Sareh Ansari, has recreated this painting as a brooch.
