Golden Pigeon Earrings

The 'Golden Pigeon Earrings' feature delicate white dots that accentuate the lines and contours of each design. These tiny white dots, like a trembling line, lend a dreamlike and fluid quality to the golden dove. The bird's curved red crown, like a vibrant and fiery flower, fills and constricts the circular frame, as if cradling that small, beautiful red flower within the upper circle. Inspired by a 10th to 11th century Iranian bowl design, Studio Toghchi, in collaboration with Shirazi artist Sareh Ansari, has reimagined this motif as a pair of earrings.
